Terms of use
Last updated 7 October 2026
Your content is yours
You own everything you add to Legacy. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run the service for you: syncing, searching, backing up, and showing it to the people you choose to share it with. We claim no other rights to it.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You must be at least 13 to have an account, and old enough in your country to agree to these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use Legacy to store content you have no right to keep, to harm or harass anyone, to break the law, or to interfere with the service or other people's use of it.
Plans and changes
Legacy has a free plan and paid plans. No change to a plan will remove a feature you have already paid for, and every plan includes a full export. If we ever have to stop offering Legacy, we will give you notice and time to export everything.
The service
We work hard to keep your archive safe and available, and we back it up daily. Even so, the service is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
Ending your account
You can export your archive and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Unless the law requires otherwise, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change takes effect.
